Introducing Hue Ancient Capital

The ancient capital of Hue  was the capital of  Dang Trong  under the Nguyen lords from  1687 to 1774 , then the capital of the Tay Son dynasty from 1788 when  Emperor Quang Trung  , also known as  Nguyen Hue,  ascended the throne. When Nguyen Anh ascended the throne in 1802 with the reign name Gia Long, he also chose  Phu Xuan citadel  as the capital of the Nguyen dynasty – the last feudal dynasty in Vietnamese history. Hue ended its mission as the capital of Vietnam in 1945 when the last emperor of the Nguyen dynasty,  Bao Dai,  abdicated.

Hue is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Vietnam, attracting the most tourists because of its ancient capital culture, rich in historical values, with many beautiful cultural and artistic features such as Hue royal court music, many unique architectural works, and special cuisine.

Hue tour schedule 4 days 3 nights

Currently,  NHC Vietnam  is implementing an overview schedule for  the 4-day, 3-night Hue tour  as follows:

Day 01: Hanoi - Hue (Dinner)

09:00 :  NHC Vietnam 's car and tour guide  pick up guests at the meeting point and depart on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway to Noi Bai international airport.

11:30 : You arrive at the airport to check in for  the flight Hanoi - Hue  (You are free to have lunch)

15:00 : Car and tour guide pick up the group to  Hue city  to check in and rest at the hotel. You will have dinner at the restaurant.

Evening : You are free to take a cyclo  to eat Hue sweet soup  and enjoy Hue specialties, and admire  the  poetic Hue city at night.

Day 02: Visit Hue - Perfume River Cruise (Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Morning :

• You have breakfast at the hotel then the car and tour guide pick you up at the hotel to visit Hue city.
• The whole group began to visit  Truong Tien Bridge ,  the Imperial Citadel of the Nguyen Kings,  Ngo Mon Gate ,  Thai Hoa Palace ,  Forbidden City ,  Tinh Tam Lake ,  The Mieu ,  Hien Lam Pavilion ,  Nine Urns ,....
• Continuing the program, the car will take you to visit  Thien Mu Pagoda.  On the way, you can admire the rich countryside scenery along the poetic Huong River.
• Coming to Thien Mu Pagoda  , you will visit the   20m high octagonal Phuoc Duyen tower with 7 floors and listen to the thrilling story about  the curse of Thien Mu Pagoda  told by the tour guide.

Noon :

• You will have dinner at the restaurant and then the car will take you back to the hotel to rest.

Afternoon :

• 15:00 : Car picks you up at the hotel lobby to go to Thuan An beach, 12km from Hue city.
  • Thuan An Beach is one of the beautiful beaches in Hue.

Evening :

• You have dinner at the restaurant.
• The whole group listened to Hue folk songs and released flower lanterns on the poetic Perfume River (cost included in the program)
• Then feel free to stroll around and enjoy Hue specialties, alley sweet soup, mussel rice,... See Hue city at night, stay overnight at the hotel

Day 03: Visit Hue Ancient Capital (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Morning :

• You will wake up to prepare breakfast.
• After breakfast, car and tour guide will pick you up to visit the ancient capital of Hue.
• Visit  Tu Duc's Tomb  located in the middle of a poetic pine forest, suitable for King Tu Duc's romantic personality.
• Continue to visit  King Khai Dinh's Tomb with its  sophisticated East-West  cultural architecture. 
• Then you rest and have lunch.

Afternoon :

• Feel free to rent a cyclo to go around, or you can rent a motorbike to visit  Vi Da village  or walk on the street named after the talented poet  Han Mac Tu .

Evening :

• You will have dinner at the restaurant and then freely explore Hue city at night.

Day 04: Hue - Hanoi (Meals: Breakfast, lunch)

Morning :

• You have breakfast at the hotel then the car takes you to shop for Hue specialties.
• You can buy Hue Ao Dai and specialties at  Dong Ba market  as gifts for relatives.

Noon :

• You have lunch at the restaurant then check out of the hotel.
• 12:30 : Car picks you up at the hotel to Phu Bai airport - Hue and does the procedures for the group.

Afternoon :

• 15:25 : You fly back to Hanoi at  16:35 . Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, the car and tour guide will pick you up and take you back to the original meeting point.
• 19:00 : The car returns to Hanoi, says goodbye to the group and see you again in the next programs.
